CGC Joins Energy Council of Canada

2017-06-07

The Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) this month joined the Energy Council of Canada (ECC), one of the country’s premier policy dialogue groups. The move is aimed at bolstering geothermal heat pump technology’s presence in energy policy discussions and at growing the industry’s presence in the Canadian energy portfolio and discussions.

“The Energy Council of Canada is our country’s representative on the World Energy Council, and will form a central node in developing Canada’s energy information and policymaker tools” said Ted Kantrowitz, CGC CEO. “CGC has long operated in a spirit of openness and dialogue, and we look forward to adding our industry’s contribution to the broad and high-level energy discussions taking place” he added.
