Canadian Industry Subsidies for Coop Student Hiring Made Available


The Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) is pleased to announce that member firms hiring registered students from science, technology, engineering, math, or business disciplines, can now qualify for workforce development subsidies of up to $7,000 per hire per fiscal year.
Created by industry’s Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC), and supported by Government of Canada, the program aims in particular to help students seeking experience in innovation and technologies critical to their province’s needs, and to help strengthen industry connections to trade and community Colleges and Institutes.
